Sleep advice!

Keri

I was hoping to get some advice or suggestions or ideas from other parents on my babes sleeping.

He's 11 weeks old now, just had his 2 month shots last week. He's been sleeping more since his shots which doesn't bother me! I let him sleep if he needs it!

The problem is night time sleeping. He's always had issues sleeping on his own. We have tried many different types of beds in our bedroom, bassinest, bringing his rocker down which he sleeps in during the day, the sleeper part of a pack and play and the bassinet set up in his pack and play. He was finally, before his shots, able to sleep on his own. Now, he will ONLY sleep at night if he's in bed with us. For obvious reasons, I don't want this to become a thing!

I nurse him to sleep, and then as soon as I move him to his bed he wakes up and screams. We have rocked/bounced him to sleep, as soon as we put him down he screams. Ive tried safely putting our shirts in with him, white noise machines, soft lighting, no lighting. Ive even tried letting him cry for 5-10 mins and trying everything all over again. Sometimes I feel after 4 hours of the fight to get him down to just let him cry himself to sleep but I just can't do that either. My fiance is at the "I give up, let him sleep in bed with us" point but like I said before, I know there's risks, and I would never forgive myself if something happened.

Does anyone have any suggestions on how to get him to sleep on his own?! If this is just a phase I can handle that, but the older he gets and when he gets the ability to roll on his own, it just gets more dangerous.

Help!!
