Does age gap affect fertility i just turned 31 and soon to be hubby just turned 55

Should I be worried about age Gap effecting my ability to get pregnant as I just turned 31 and hubby just turned 55 we want a baby please anyone who in this situation or knows someone in this situation please need some advice

I’m going on 23, husband is going on 50 and we got pregnant after just 1 try. I was concerned our age gap and the fact that he smokes about a half pack a day would affect our ability to conceive but (other than his smoking) we’re both healthy and take great care of ourselves. We have a healthy baby girl due in less than 4 weeks.

Nope my husband is 38 and I’m 24 and we’re are expecting our second baby in January and he has low Sperm count

I am glad to hear that someone posted this question. We have been trying for 4 years to get pregnant and have only succeeded once but sadly ended in a mc. I have always wondered if it’s the age he is as that’s what all obgyns immediately point to, we both have children from prior marriages. I just don’t get it. We desperately want a child together and he is only getting older as am i. 20yr age gap 31 & 51 we have been together 8 years. I wish I would have pulled the birth control immediately had I known we would still be together this long...

Not for me!!! I was 34 (now 35) & my husband is 58!!! We are expecting our 2nd in June!!!
