Might be in preterm labor?
I've been having contractions every 5-6 minutes. They do not hurt, but you can definitely tell it's a contraction because of how tight my uterus gets. It kind of takes my breath away. I phoned my doctor and told them I was 28 weeks with twins and this was going on. The doctor didn't seem too interested and said, "wait until contractions are less than 5 minutes and are pretty intense". I guess my question is, why would he not want me there now to try and stop labor if this is early preterm labor? Why wait until it's active labor?! I've been having the contractions about two hours now. I figured I would wait another hour or two and if it continues I'm going in regardless. What are your opinions! I've tried a hot bath, I've tried drinking lots of water and laying on my left side & even putting my feet up.
