Braces while pregnant?

Has anyone ever gotten pregnant and then had braces put on? Or had any things done at the orthodontist and dentist while pregnant?

I had to have a root canal done while I was pregnant. No medicine to help with the pain, other then tylonol, and nothing to numb me other then those painful ass shots in my cheek

I had two wisdom teeth removed but that was because the benefit outweighed the risk. They were severely infected and weren't responding to antibiotics anymore. I just had local anesthetic and got along great, no complications thankfully.

Also dentist don't like to administer anesthetics to a pregnant woman during certain trimesters in case of complications. It's best to just wait till after the pregnancy.

No because usually they recommend no major dental work while pregnant. During your pregnancy your gums generally are more sensitive and are prone to bleed more.
