Dryer sheets?

Total FTM question here. So I know you’re supposed to use unscented/sensitive detergent for baby items but what about dryer sheets? Can those just be the same as we are using now? I’m trying to get a head start on washing some of littles items before the holidays creep up on me then BAM she’s here. Thank you all!!

I wouldn’t use dryer sheets on adults. Definitely not babies. They’re highly toxic.

You can get wool dryer balls. They will help with the static. If you just just them for fragrance then get downy unstoppables to throw in with the wash. The residue will rinse off.

I have ALWAYS washed my babies clothes just like the rest. Never any special detergents and I use dryer sheets..sometimes. When I have them. Lol. 
I have super sensitive skin, and I use gain pods or tide pods and haven’t ever had an issue 🤷🏼‍♀️

I looked it up online and on the baby sites , it says not to because of the residue it can leave on the clothes and it gets on the littles skin and can be an irritant.

I use dreft and no dryer sheets with my son’s clothes and plan to do the same for baby girl.

I would not wash in anything different than what you already use. My skin is insanely sensitive so I use free and clear everything including dryer sheets. But if you don’t have issues with what you use baby should be fine. Unless you notice irritation or a rash and then you know where to start.
