Is It Normal Not To Have Friends In College

I'm going into my 3rd year of college, after doing two years at home and switching campuses, I'm finally moving away to my college's main campus. I feel like I haven't made any friends, I've talked to people but I've always been the get your work done, go where you want, independent type. Is this normal or is something wrong with me?
