What happened to women supporting each other?

I walked into a plus size store to look for a dress that will fit my top half I am tiny with ddd breasts and I proceeded to shop to only be stopped by a employee an told "our sizes go from a 10 and up." Looking me up and down glaring at me. I tried them on anyways didn't like the fit so I didn't purchase but as we left I was laughed at and glared at. What on earth ever happened to women supporting each other? No matter the sizes? I was there to buy and I loved the style I was not there to be judged.
