Breakups and binge eating (REALLY NEED ADVICE)

So I went through a pretty tough breakup about a year ago and afterward I picked up some pretty bad coping mechanisms and habits. I stopped talking to friends, stopped leaving my house for anything (literally I quit my job and didn’t step out of the house for two weeks at one point), and most of all I picked up eating...a LOT. Even when I wasn’t hungry or didn’t even want to eat, i was eating, and because I wasn’t leaving the house I wasn’t burning anything off. A little over a year ago (right before the breakup) I was 130 lbs. with a 28 inch waist. I’m now 180 lbs. with a 35 inch waist. THATS INSANE!! No hate to the women who have these measurements/weight, that’s amazing, you’re wonderful the way you are!! I’m just simply stating that to gain that much in only a year is crazy and it’s dropped my self esteem to an all time low since I don’t quite fit into any of my clothes anymore and I just feel a bit gross and uncomfortable with myself. I’m now totally over the breakup, but it’s lasting after effects are killing me. I still can’t put down food, and have no willpower to stop eating. I’m getting better at leaving my house more, but I’m still a bit scared, I’m too afraid to pursue anyone of anything bc of general lack of self esteem, etc.

So I truly am just wondering if anyone else has experienced this, gone through it, etc. and how you managed to get past it?? ALSO does anyone have any workout advice on how to get started?? Thank you!!
