Im 28 and hes 64, we have been going out for nearly 2 years. I would never in all my dreams imagined it possible for a relaionship with such a large age gap to work not only well but be so much fun. He makes me laugh, is so sensible, smart and put together and is a great problem solver.

My family dont mind at all (well, my mum cant talk, she is 50 and her bf is 29 hehehe)

There has been times the age gap is relevant. Like when we play a game of trivial pursuit and i get totally steam rollered at it because its an edition from the early 90s. Im stupid for agreeing to even play that edition!

Other times its generational differences. Culture and music. I do like a lot of the music he likes so it doesnt really matter much in that respect. We see each other at weekends and in holidays together and it works so well that way.

I am a divorced mum to a little boy of 4 and he cares for us both which means the world to me.

I just want people to know that age gap love exists and is possible. I dont care about funny looks in the street, i put it down to either curiousity or if they dont like it, they can get lost! 😆

We are both happy together and it does sometimes cross my mind about the age but it doesnt much affect things...

So if you are in a relationship with a large age gap, know that it is possible and can work well 😊
