Is it okay if my boyfriends mom kisses me on my lips ?

I’ve been together with my boyfriend for 9 months.. it’s a long distance so I don’t get to see him so often. I visited his family for his birthday and his mom was so excited to have us and we had the most wonderful time as a family. She loves me so much and she says she wants me and him to have a baby and get married.. She’s gypsy, so she’s seen me and my boyfriends future once that’s why she wants me to be with him forever. Yesterday night we were talking and hugging and she just kissed me all of a sudden. I obviously went with the flow because she still kisses my boyfriend and he’s 19 . So is that a way of her telling me she loves me or that’s just weird?

I would be weirded out, not gonna lie lol. But I wouldn’t think negatively of her

I’ve had friends parents do that to me too 😅 My best friend’s mom did that to me when we came over one time and it’s just a greeting they do. I didn’t think much of it because it was cute that she was happy to see me and we went on with our day like it was nothing. Different generation and different times. 
I’m still getting used to my fiancé’s family kissing my entire face when we come over 😋

Honestly just how some people greet and like others said could be a culture thing. My great grandma and best friends mom gives kisses on the lips. Nothing weird just what they do.

That's a lil strange, but it's likely a cultural thing. If you feel weird, just turn your cheek when you see the lips coming so the kids lands on your cheek instead. When greeting her with a hug, give her a cheek kiss. That should get the point across.

I guess it’s normal for her like I don’t think she meant it in a weird way from the sound of it BUT I definitely wouldn’t be comfortable with that.. you don’t know where that mouths been. 👀 I would politely ask her to stop. Just tell her you’re not used to that so it makes you really uncomfortable
