So my fiancé and I have been together since April and have slept in the same bed every night since the end of June. On thanksgiving he got a call offering him a job so he took it since he’s been out of work for a few months however this job sent him to Virginia on Saturday. It’s only been 2 nights since he’s been gone and I haven’t been able to sleep either one of those nights and neither has he. I knew him being gone would be hard but I didn’t know it would be this hard. We were supposed to look at our Venue this week but now I’m going alone. Anyone have any advice on how I can get myself to sleep without taking a bunch of medicine? For my job I can’t knock myself out because I’m a hospice aide and they call me if there are any deaths or emergencies. He called me this morning just to let me know he was up for work so of course I was happy but now that I’m awake I miss him more because I can’t just roll over and kiss him good morning like I do every day.
