Late period, negative pregnancy test.

So as of right now I am 7 days late with my period which is super weird because I’m usually very regular. I did a pregnancy test two days ago and it was negative. The last two cycles I tried OPKs and the results this month were weird. I had like 8 high days in a row and no peak days. And on those last few days I was spotting very very lightly. It was pink/orangish the first two days and brown on the last two. And now I woke up this morning with period like cramps. I thought for sure AF was coming with a vengeance. I went to the bathroom and nothing!

Is this normal? Has this happened to any one else before? Could there be something wrong with my body? I’m nervous that there is something wrong with me. Please help!
