Does this make me a bad friend?

My friends are very open and honest about their personal their. We've had many conversations about their relationship issues, financial issues, mental health, etc. I am the complete opposite. I don't like talking about myself at all. I like to keep my private life private and it seems as though that's a problem for them. Am I wrong?Am I obligated to share the details of my personal life just because they're so open about theirs?

Some people just don’t like to share those intimate details with just anyone and there’s absolutely nothing wrong with that at all.

It’s not a bad thing but it may seem a bit off to them that they’re sharing soo much information with you but you’re not doing the same, I mean that’s what best friends are kinda for right? Not saying you should share everything but maybe just a little more but if you’re not comfortable with sharing more you’re not obligated to and as your friends they should understand and respect your view

No that doesn’t mean anything negative about you. I would however, explain to them sometime that you’re not comfortable sharing personal information about yourself but you don’t mind if they want to. That way they don’t think you’re being rude if they share and you don’t.
