Husband's Work Schedule

I'm having a hard time dealing with my husbands work schedule. I try to plan dates for us, he cancels them because he's to tired. I feel like this has but a huge strain on our marriage. I'm lost.

I have the same problem. Then we started doing dates at home. It’s just as good as going out and hell, saves us money. I would love to got out and party we are only 19. But the life we signed up for just won’t allow it. He’s always gone for training or work, so the most important thing is just spending time together. Regardless of where you are.

Coming from experience. You also have to take into consideration that their job is tiring and that it does affect them a lot. How about have a movie night at home or something that’s relaxing for the both of you but spending time together should matter to you no matter what it is. I understand it’s frustrating but they have a lot on their plates. My husband is currently over seas. But before he left I would want to go out or whatever it may have been but he was so tired all the time which I realized that it was okay. But I hope everything is well and just talk to him about it.

No you’re not wrong. I understand completely. But you have to see from his point of view, long days and having to get up really early it does put a lot on them but then again he should’ve attempted to compromise but honestly just talk to him. I know it’s not easy but you have to communicate

Thanks you so much. I guess I'm just so hurt because I feel like I'm putting in more effort into this relationship that he is. I wish he would just meet me half way. I've tried the staying in and watching a movie date idea. He stayed up for 30 minutes then fell asleep.
