Care Package Help!

My boyfriend is deployed in the Middle East and I’m so excited to send him care packages! I’m new to this so I was wondering if you ladies could give me some insight, tips, or suggestions? Does it get expensive, are there any items you always like to include, etc.? I know to be cautious of the items I send him such as no pork, things that will melt, and anything inappropriate. Just trying to get some ideas that have worked for other people. Thanks!
