Clear blue fertility monitor??

Question

Has anyone tried this? The good the bad and the ugly... I want to know it all! Any helpful tips? Where do you buy your test strips for the cheapest??

I used the touch screen version of this and loved it. 
Tip to save money on expensive tests is to stop putting them in when you get peak. It's automatically set to give you 2 peaks, 1 high and back to low. 
The other thing I did was to only give sticks every second day when early in my cycle.
Wish I could say I got pregnant from using it, but after 6 months of knowing we were timing everything correctly I had tests and found blocked tubes. Without the monitor, I probably would have tried for another 6 months so I'm happy I used it.

If you are going to use it with fertility treatments my RE found that the clear blue was not accurate. She suggested only opks that measure LH surge. The monitor measures estrogen too and that causes an issue if you are doing a medicated cycle. I used it for a whole year prior to starting fertility treatments and it worked well, but no BFP. Hope this helps.

You can buy test sticks pretty cheap off eBay. They're usually expired but they work just as good. I used them for 6 cycles!

My friend gave me hers after she got pg. I used it but def test strips are expensive, especially if you have longer cycles. If you ovulate on time at the same time every month then I wouldn't waste your money and would go with a cheaper one. After a couple cycles I was able to know when approximately I would ovulate, which for me was later day 15-18, so instead of testing at day 10 like the machine asks, I would skip them until day 13 just to save some money.
