What is your second (or third, etc.) pregnancy like compared to the first?

I'm 31 weeks and have found my second pregnancy to be harder than my first. My midwives said that it's completely normal. Has anyone else heard or experienced this? It just seems counterintuitive, like my body should know what to do more this time so it should be easier. I had a boy first and am now pregnant with a girl so maybe that has something to do with it.

Pregnant with my second son I'm tired running about after my almost two year old along with doing everything else. This baby is also bigger than my first and the heart burn is awful so yes harder ! I'm 39weeks now

I’m only 8 weeks 3 days and it’s incredibly hard already. Severe morning sickness that I didn’t have with my son that started way earlier than last time too. Hope this isn’t a theme throughout my pregnancy lol.

This pregnancy is so much worse. My daughter is a little over two.
She was so easy (excluding the labor which was 26 hours). I had no morning sickness, barely had any symptoms at all.
I feel like with the second, third etc pregnancies your body is more susceptible to all of the pregnancy hormones. I am so much more emotional, in more pain, showing way sooner, craving food way more, and have been experiencing basically all of the typical pregnancy things more.

I’m only 7 weeks but already been more nauseous than last pregnancy (still not much but last pregnancy I had none.) I also haven’t had any cramps like I did last pregnancy. So I guess they kinda weigh each other out 🤷‍♀️

This is my second pregnancy, with a boy had a girl first. This time has been much harder. I started this pregnancy heavier and have been gaining more weight than I did with my daughter. With my daughter no issues within blood pressure and now I’m starting to have rising blood pressures. I work in schools so my daughter was born at the end of summer break (August) this baby is due in January and I’m working up until Christmas break. I’m so exhausted from the students at the end of the day. Monday I ended up in L&D with contractions, but luckily my cervix was closed. I’m just taking it day by day until Christmas holidays.

This pregnancy has been a thousand times better than my first up until the bitter end it’s gotten harder as I’m more uncomfortable. I’m 37 weeks now and very uncomfortable whereas with my daughter I went past by due date by three days and was never uncomfortable. I think this also has to do with the fact that I had such a short time between pregnancies (my first is 17 months right now) and that I’m now chasing around after her as well when last time I could just relax! I’m having a boy now btw.

This pregnancies way worse, I’m way sicker. But I haven’t found out what I’m having yet. What’s harder for you this time around?
