Tell a woman who is single, privately undergoing fertility treatments, recovering from a miscarriage, on what would have been that due date, who is about to have her 40th birthday that “40 is just a number”. Go on. Do it. I dare you.

This is my day today. From an ex boyfriend no less. Whilst profusely congratulating two family members on their birth and pregnancy news.

What should my reaction be? What would you do?
