So I’m 33 weeks 2 days pregnant. I have been seeing my doctor weekly because of my blood pressures being elevated for the last three visits. Well Monday I go in and it’s at 168/100 so she immediately calls the hospital and has me drive over there to be admitted. They put baby on monitor and he’s just kind of being bleh. She told me regardless of my results because they keep coming back non preeclampsia she is still going to induce me at 37 weeks. They give me a betamethasone shot which hurt so bad for his lungs then sent me off to get an ultrasound in case I would have to deliver on Monday at 34 weeks. They are doing all his testing, measuring him and my little heifer is measuring at 6 pounds 8 ounces at only 33 weeks! Btw his head is measuring five weeks ahead at 38 weeks. We knew he was measuring ahead three weeks this whole time but this blew my mind! My blood pressures have pretty much been normal since being admitted and they finished off all steroid shots for his lungs. Doctor is still planning on inducing early but now it’s because of his size too. Any similar stories? 😦
