Does anyone know if we’re entitled to housing benefit once I’m on maternity? My partner got a new job as an apprentice just before we found out I was pregnant. He’s gets £3.90ph which adds up to around £150 a week but it goes up to minimum wage in February which is £5.90 I think for his age before baby is due and I’ll be getting £145 maternity pay a week. Completely unplanned and we’re just trying to figure out how we’re gonna be able to afford to breathe anymore😂
