Just need to rant a little bit.

Every night I get my 8 month old daughter to go to sleep, FINALLY. She usually falls asleep about 8:30pm. Then I put her inside her crib, that’s in our room. She sleeps in her own bed, but stays in our room.

Then me and hubby stay up for a couple hours and watch tv and get our time in together. And then we decide to go to bed too.

And every time we are about to walk into the room I ask him politely “the baby is asleep, and is less then two feet from our bed, please be quiet.”

And then it’s like as soon as we get in the room, he has a “cough attack”, or drops the remote on our hard wood floors. It’s always SOMETHING. he always makes loud sounds and wakes our baby up. This always happens about 10:30 or 11pm. And then I’m stuck having to deal with a fussy awake baby, who doesn’t even go back to sleep until 1am, close to 2am! But you know what hubby does? Rolls over and goes to sleep as soon as he wakes the baby up.

I told him no, I’m not gonna do it anymore. So for the past week, everytime he does something loud to wake the baby up, I’ve been letting her sit in her crib and cry, and cry. And pout and whine. And he don’t like to hear that. So while I roll over and “go to sleep”, she keeps crying and pouting, he can’t stand to hear her cry, so he has been having to deal with it, and been putting the baby back to sleep. And yeah he has work the next day, but I don’t give a fuck. He needs to learn his damn lesson, and maybe will stop being so gosh darn loud and stop waking the baby. He’s a little pain in my ass.
