Do you think atheists are mentally stronger than Christians?

I believe we are, because rather than leaning on "God" whenever we have problems, we face them ourselves. I think Christians are far too reliant on God, and would be better off working out their problems themselves, rather than waiting for help from Sky Daddy.

Why have you singled out Christians here? Many religions have one or multiple “sky daddys” who they turn too at different points in their life...

Yes I do. And not just Christians , any religion. If you need to believe in a higher power in order to get through life, you don't fully believe in yourself

By far. We can deal with death in a way that does t require comforting lies. Which is quite difficult when trauma isn’t unfamiliar to you. As a Christian I was suicidal much of the Time because I didn’t ever fit in their demure, submissive box. I much prefer owning my own power and fear no longer has a place in my life.

I don't think so.
Feel free to disagree, but I think our "mental strength" is not reliant on religion. It's something we can have either way, and we are in control of.
I think we decide our will power. Our determination.
I have Christian friends who have very little will power and succumb to pressure easily.
And then there's me (also a Christian) who is rock solid. When I say I will/won't do something, I stick to my word. I don't get 'tempted'.
I have non Christian friends who are so strong in will and character, and others that can hardly control themselves.
Same for my Christian friends.

I don’t know if mentally stronger would be the term. All religions have certain preconceived notions about how the world cam about and how people got here, and a lot if not all are incorrect. Such as the lack of acceptance of evolution. However that doesn’t mean that religious people CAN’T understand or accept anything that goes against their religious beliefs but is scientifically proven. All religions are like this not just Christianity.
