Sometimes genetics are the only problem. My acne has ALWAYS been horrid. It's still bad sometimes and I'm almost 21. Just gotta wait it out and try different products. One product I used worked great tho but I couldnt afford to keep buying it. It was called curology

Water !!! Try water with cucumbers , strawberries or lemons . Try Rose Water face spray . Try Clay face masks also . And when you shower with dove soap it also helps . But yes water is the Key .

I mean it varies, everyone's different so there's no guarantee it will work for you. I found a face wash I really like that doesn't irritate my skin (neutrogena naturals pore scrub) and cut out dairy and junk food. When I was still eating dairy I drank a lot of water too and it didn't make much of a difference. Hydration is important yes, but diet makes a bigger difference imo.

It can help but everyone is different. There are a lot of contributing factors to acne. Diet, water intake, skincare, hormones, and genetics. I know people who religiously take care of their skin, drink lots of water, and eat healthy and they still have acne because it's genetic.
