Medicine for a cold?

What medicine is safe to take?
Obvi I’m going to check with my doctor too, but I want to know what you ladies are doing...
Runny nose, cough, sore throat headache... hot tea and cough drops aren’t working 💀☹️😷🤧
This and morning sick I feel terrible.

Answer

Paracetamol, hot water with lemon and honey, gargle with warm salt water, steamy shower or tea towel over your head over steaming water, nasal spray. If your throat still needs soothing, have a spoon of honey. Colds are rubbish in pregnancy but all those things should help ease your symptoms, just like any over the counter meds. No aspirin, ibuprofen or phenylephine I am afraid.
