When should I hold my Gender reveal

Hey all I'm having a bit of a disagreement with my mother in law. I want to plan my baby shower/gender reveal on January 26th but my mother in law says its to early and to do it around 8 months. In my opinon i just want to know and have the party already!! Baby due 5/23/19 💜

I miss read this, and just saw gender reveal not baby shower. Baby showers are typically around 8 months so you have your bump 🤗. Maybe just do a small get together for gender end of January! 💙💕💙💕

I'd say meet her in the middle to not hurt anyone's feelings. She probably just want you to celebrate with a big beautiful bump! Have it mid/end of Feb so you still have time to get anything you dont get as a gift, but you've delayed it as well for her.

I personally would do the gender reveal first. Maybe January and then do your baby shower when you are 7 months. But ultimately it’s your decision. Do what makes you happy.

Do them separate. You don't have to have a baby shower with the gender reveal :) that's what I did :)

Do it whenever you want! I want to do mine sooner just in case we don’t get some of our important items from our registry so I’m not rushed trying to buy things at the last minute.
