Does anyone else baby do this? Why 😭

My son does this then loses his latch and gets mad🤨he’s almost 6 weeks it gets frustrating sometimes because he gets so wiggly and mad and then milk is squirting everywhere lol he did it this morning and milk just kept coming out and covered his face...it made me lol a little because I just couldn’t stop the flow so trying to get my boob back in his mouth wasn’t happening and I may have been a tad over tired at that point😂

My LO does that and even pulls back with a very strong latch (ouch). My Lactation Consultant said it’s the baby getting over excited and unorganized... totally normal. Frustrating? Yes. Normal? Also yes. She told me that my LO will eventually grow out of it. When she is not effectively sucking, she recommended that I pull her off and burp her or let her suck on my finger to remind her what she is supposed to be doing. Hang in there mamma!!
