Did your membrane sweep put you in labor?

I had a membrane sweep done about 4 hours ago. I’ve had some pretty consistent contractions as far as intensity. They are anywhere between 8-15 min apart. I’m hoping this works. I’m 40w 3d 🤰🏻

Update!!! Contractions and water broke at 2am this morning. At the hospital in active labor now 🙌🏼

First one at 39 weeks and it didn’t work...
Got my second at 39 weeks and 5 days at 4:30 pm (I was 1 1/2cm for the 3rd week) ... Contractions started at 7:00pm... Water broke at 12:30am ... Got to the hospital at 1:00 am (was 2-3 cm) and had my daughter at 5:03am !

Had my sweep at about 8:30 am and had my baby JUST after midnight the next morning. I really think it sped things along...at least for me.

I marked “no” but not enough time has passed to tell yet- I’m still in the 24-48 hour range past the sweep... I did lose my mucus plug though!

Had a sweep done at about 2pm Tuesday, waters broke at 3am Thursday was 5cm by 4:30am and gave birth at 7:53am on that Thursday, don’t know if it was the sweep that set me off but in the time scales!

I had a sweep w two different babies. My first I had her later that day and my other baby didn’t go into labor until my 2nd sweep and I was already 6 cm dilated when I had it done
