I have come down with a cold, coughing, sneezing, runny nose, and a general feeling of blah. No fevers either.

My fiancé is telling me I have to call the doctor tomorrow and get a check up, but I don’t want to.

To me it’s just a cold and bed rest and fluids are all I need. I’m keeping fluids and food down and have had no nausea either. My anxiety would go up if I had to go to the doctors and I really want to avoid it.

I don’t feel as if I’m putting our baby in danger because there is no fever and I’m staying hydrated, but he isn’t letting things go and won’t stop pushing me to go to the doctors.

Should I ask for a check up just in case? Or would it be fine just staying home?
