Feeling angry with their partner...anyone else the same?

Finally got a positive opk yesterday then my temp is up by 0.4 this morning. I knew I was ovulating but my husband didn't feel like sex. I'm so angry at him for missing this opportunity even tho he wants a baby too. Does anyone else feel this way towards there partner during this time. I'm frustrated and annoyed that we have to wait another 6 weeks before trying as I ovulate late.

Oh that's a tough one!!! This is such a trying time for a couple and maybe you need to sit down and have a chat. My oh was really overwhelmed when we started ttc and felt a lot of pressure. This should be a fun and memorable time for you both. I'm a charter and I analyise everything too but no need to share it with them. We can have sex anytime but if they're not in the mood it's quite obvious lol. Communication is the key!!

Mine was slightly stressed about it the 2nd cycle . Then I starred bd days on the calendar and said something along the lines of just doing quickies, and keeping it easy .. Also got a little lingere , and planned an overnight the Friday around O day ;) it's hard when you bd for the purpose of an actual baby lol

After having a big chat with my husband. I found out that he feels the pressure and that sex is not enjoyable anymore as it feels forced. I said that it should be an exciting time and that you should be excited to have sex knowing im ovulating but he said it's not the same as just letting it happen. He said I can be forceful when I'm ovualting and it dosnt feel natural. I now understand where he is coming from and think the best thing for us ladies is to monitor our ovulation but not express the need to have sex and just let it happen. As hard as this is to do :) thanks for all the support I needed it. Xx

Well. This exact thing happened between my DH and I last cycle (our first TTC btw). The day I ovulated (+OPK) he couldn't finish. I was so upset we almost took time apart. He said he felt used and like it was a job, even though I was making it fun, toys, outfits, etc. Looking back on the situation now, I realize I can't be so controlling, I have to think that there is a reason this month won't be it and just move forward and do something different next cycle. Just try to take his feelings into account and move forward. Don't let it get you down. Try to stay positive.
