Good morning ladies,

So a little about us, I’m 26, my husband is 25, we have a one year old little boy, a great dog, and we due with our second child in August.

My husband has decided to go into the military, specifically the Air Force. I support him 100% and will always do so... I’m not going to lie, it scares me, a lot. I love my husband more than I can express and never want to lose him or see anything happen to him.. our son is 100% a daddy’s boy, he goes to the front door (storm door) every day around 3:30/4 when Daddy is about to be home. We are both firefighters in our county, he works full time at a military training facility as a role player, I’m a direct sales consultant and I own a cleaning business. I’ve been a military daughter, granddaughter, niece and even girlfriend, but not a wife and mom.

How do I be the military wife I’m supposed to? What changes? What’s deployment like? How will this affect our son and coming child? I have so many questions and concerns. I just need peace of mind.
