How do test corrections work?

I am in a calculus class and i am failing miserably. My professor is letting us do test corrections to do outside of class and turn in. From your experience, you allowed to get help on test corrections? I was going to get help because otherwise I could not get the right answers, but I don’t want him to question how I got the answers because I won’t know.

If you can try revisiting the material first to see if you can figure out your mistakes. If not get help, but also make sure they are teaching you how to get the answers in case your professors asks or you have to show your work.

Usually with test corrections, you can use any resources outside of the classroom to help improve your grade. They're really a  great help of your grade isnt where you want it to be at. But if you are concerned you can always ask your professor to be sure.

If you can take them home to work on them I’d assume you can do whatever you want. Ask your professor if you need help, he’s the best resource if he’s the one assigning them.

It would depend on his own policies, but if you don't ask a) you won't know but b) he won't be able to say no 🤷🏼‍♀️ I'd get help from your classmates/the internet first and then if there's any left after that, see if he'll help you.
