What was your experience quitting depo?

What was your experience quitting birth control? The shot specifically?

I have been on depo for the last 4 years. After the first year my period disappeared which I kind of loved but now that my husband and I are ttc I have some questions.

Before birth control I was very regular. After my last shot wore off it took an additional month for my period to come back. Should I expect it to be regular again once it has started?

It's so hard to track ovulation when you're not regular. . .

I've also experienced obnoxious side effects like breast tenderness, which has been the worst. Anyone else?
