Clomid? Femara?

Maybe this is a dumb question but could someone tell me the difference between the two!

They provide the same result but go about it in different ways. I ovulated on Clomid but never got pregnant. I am now 10 weeks with my 2nd round Femara. I have PCOS.

Pretty much used for same thing. Femara is supposed to be better for people with PCOS because it doesn’t affect cm like clomid does. I had way less side effects with Femara.

Just depends on your doctor and the reason you’re taking it. My doc said clomid works better for most people and femara is for those who don’t respond to clomid. Other docs prefer femara 🤷🏻‍♀️
