So I woke up last Saturday the 8th with what felt like just discharge until I got out of bed and felt a gush. I ran to the bathroom and called my midwife, since I wasn't having any constractions or pain she said I could hold off a few hours if I wanted. I called back a few hours later after eating breakfast, doing some laundry, dishes and finished packing all of our stuff. We got to the hospital around 1115 and I was given something to mic the start of labor. Around 430 my constractions started hurting and ended up getting an epidural at 830pm then given a small amount of pitocin since I was still at 4cm. Finally at 4am I was fully dilated and started pushing. Pushed for an hour and my beautiful baby girl was born at 5:05am weighing 8lb 5oz and 20.5 inches long❤️ I couldn't have asked for a better pregnancy and labor and delivery, it was in all aspects perfect!
