I just wanted it to be the best Christmas for him........

Growing up, my husbands family didn’t do much for Christmas so when we started dating he pretty much hated buying gifts for each other... I couldn’t understand the attitude he had about it because my family we LOVE LOVE LOVE Christmas and I love getting to buy for others.... So since we got married I’ve tried my hardest to make Christmas special for him.... So since we don’t have a lot of money this time of year I ordered him something that he’s really been wanting plus I found it on sale, only to receive a phone call this morning that they had to cancel my order.😭 I’ve been SO EXCITED for it to come in mail! I wanted us to wake up Christmas morning make breakfast together and open presents and just spend a special day together... Plus my grandparents live out of state so we’ve been planning on going down early for their Christmas and staying a few days but now my husband decided he feels bad to ask off so we’ll just leave Friday night and drive 6 hours only to come back home Sunday... (he lives by both of his grandparents). It just feels like everything that I really wanted is falling apart...... Maybe I’m just to emotional about it but this time of year means a lot to me.... It does feel harder because I moved away from my family to a place where his family doesn’t really like Christmas... Sorry for the rant....🙈
