Gender biased equality. *possible trigger* *mention of potential sexual assault*

A running back from the NFL today has been place on a paid leave while the NFL investigates a situation in where Kareem Hunt (Running Back) is caught on camera pushing a woman back in February 2018.

No charges were filed. Both parties have pointed fingers saying the other is the instigator.

Now, here's why I'm bringing this to Glow. He also punched a man in the face in June.

No one really gives two craps about it.

I'd like to know your thoughts one the situation. When two men get in a fight, no one bats an eye. Yet when a woman is involved, even if she's the one who started it, everyone loses their minds.

Note: this post is not about condoning violent behavior. It's simply about the double standard seen here.

Also, there has been no confirmation who made the first assault.

What are your thoughts about this double standard? Should women be true equals in all stand points or are there exceptions?

Again, not condoning violence.

My thoughts are that both situations should be "investigated" and he should be handed out repercussions accordingly. Just because one altercation was with a woman while the other was a man, doesn't make one worse than the other simply based on gender.
