Cows milk?

Question

Anyone start weaning with cows milk? It was horizon organic whole milk. My baby chugged 6 oz last night and finally slept through the night. She usually has 5-6 bottles of breast milk @6oz each.
Just planning on giving to her at night. Has anyone tried this yet? Just curious of what other changes I may expect.

Glad you brought this up. I was just thinking about starting to add the cows milk to my daughters formula to start transitioning her. Wasn’t sure if this was too early or not though. She’ll be 11 months in a couple of days

Personally I’m waiting until at least 1 year, as it’s recommended by health authorities in NZ to wait till then. They say it’s too tough on baby’s kidneys to process, something about too much protein and salt.

Ive started transitioning, 2oz milk 6oz formula .. shes 1 in 4 weeks

My son has been eating regular kids yogurt for about a good month now and he loves it ans does great with it  I'm going to start trying whole milk added to his formula soon. He isnt a big regular food eater tho

My nutritionist and pediatrician said at 11 months to mix 4 oz whole milk with 4 oz formula. Seems everyone has different opinions.

I asked about transitioning and when to start if I should be adding t in now and my doctor said to wait til he’s one
