Truth is that your brain doesn't mature until your early 20's. Teens cannot process and understand risk because that part of their brain hasn't developed. I know I made many risky decisions as a teen and got lucky nothing went wrong. If you wait till your 18 you're at least legal for sure.

I'd say 17. And I'm not only saying that because I'm 17 and gave my virginity to my fiancé just a few weeks ago. But I'm saying that because you're almost an adult and that's about the age of consent in most states. (I know where I live it's 16, but for the majority it's 17.)
