C-Section with toddler at home

Hi lovely ladies,

Recently my doctors suggested that I plan for a c-section at 39 weeks due to the size of my baby boy and my past history with babies getting stuck. If I go into labor naturally before that, we'll try for a vaginal birth. I know these things are out of my control, but I was mentally ready for a vaginal recovery while taking care of a newborn and a toddler, and now I'm freaking out thinking I'll be recovering from a surgery like that with two needy little ones. Anyone able to offer some perspective?
