Creating your own tarot cards?

I have a specific talent for foretelling the future - I say it's specific because a generic deck of tarot cards won't really help me. I'm artsy and do a lot of DIY things, so I'd like to make my own deck. But I heard there's a ritual or enchantment you have to do while creating your own deck - and I haven't seen any blank cards for sale anywhere. Least none that I can draw on. Has anyone done this?

This is an amazing idea!
I think there is a lot of sacredness in the original decks, however your intuition is power and your creative gift is what connects you to it. I think you should go for it!

My first tarot deck was two decks of playing cards, the fronts carefully cleaned with rubbing alcohol and acetone to strip/fade the original designs. I then used my own designs to paint and ink on them.

I didn't use any specific spell or ritual other than pouring my energy, heart and soul into their creation. They worked better than almost any premade deck I've ever used. The only tarot deck I owned that rivaled it was a Robin Wood deck that had an energetic connection with me.
