Postpartum debate? Pads vs disposable underwear?

Hi, Girls what would you think 🤔 is better or more comfortable? How would you feel with pros and cons or any experiences? 
I don’t know if I should buy one or the other?

I bought both, adult diapers for the first few days when bleeding is heaviest & for at night time then switch to pads when things start to slow down.

I hate pads in general. About a week after I gave birth with my first, I ended up switching to diapers mainly because I kept bleeding through my underwear. The diapers were much more comfortable. So this time around I’m skipping the pads.

100% diapers. I’ve used them for two pregnancies so far, and plan on it this time as well! Once bleeding subsides a great deal, I switch to the always foam pads. I love the Always Discreet Underwear.

I feel like by the time I left the hospital a diaper would have been overkill. I didn't bleed heavily for very long, I just bled a little bit for a long time (6 weeks and then 4 more of spotting).

I think it depends on how much you bleed. I used pads for probably 3-4 days and then barely needed pantyliners. You’ll have to play it by ear 🤷🏻‍♀️

Found a good deal on Amazon on disposable underwear- always discreet in the old packaging. Also have always overnights for after that, then plan to slowly fade to my normal pads left over from before haha. Who knows though since I'm a ftm.

I'm blessed we're giving birth at the MAIN Joe D children's hospital in South Florida. So they give away EVERYTHING! I plan on stocking up on the 1s they give me & then at home (after I run out of the hospital ones) I made padsicles w very comfy well fitting full coverage undies.
