Is a dress with transparent or lace sleeves a big no in the summer?

I love wedding dresses with sleeves, especially those that have off-the-shoulder neckline. Would it be a bad idea in warm weather?

So these aren't long sleeves, but they are sleeves (also an open back!). I felt so much more secure with them (emotionally and physically) than I would have in a strapless dress. This was in August on the ocean, and I was comfy until the sun started to set.

Go for the style you like! If you like sleeves, try to find dresses with sleeves that have lace and are breathable. If you’re getting married inside you won’t have to worry about sweating too much.
