I had 3🙈 my sister in law threw one for me in Arkansas with ny husbands family, my church threw one and my mom had one with my family and friends

If you live in a town that isn’t you and your husband’s hometown, you end up having more! I had one in the town we live in, one in my hometown for family, and then one at my mother in laws house for his family. Then my third grade class threw me one at school. We ended up having 4! It felt kind of ridiculous lol, but that’s just how it worked out!

My coworkers threw me one, my family threw me another and my husbands family threw us one yesterday. My husbands coworkers are giving him one at work also.

We’re having 3, it’s our first child. We had a co-ed one yesterday with our friends and then my MIL and mother are throwing the “traditional” all women one next week and my husband’s work is throwing him one next Monday..... we are definitely blessed to have all this support.

I don’t have a lot of friends within my state, but with each child (this is my third) I’ve had two showers. One always thrown by someone in my family or my husbands, and another by a friend.

My husband's work had one for him, I had one for his family and a couple of my friends, then we will have one for my extended family. I don't know if my work is planning on having one for me or not. It is just how it worked out.

We are having 4 total. My parents are divorced so we had my dad's side over Thanksgiving while we were visiting, a work one, my moms side is this weekend and then my husband's friends over new years. It honestly has been so much with just two so far I would not recommend multiple!
