So I bled this month from the 8/4-8/11, I had my yearly exam on the 11th and was put on Metformin for my irregular periods, I started on the 11th with 500mg a day for a week and increasing the dose by 500mg up until 2000mg, so today was my first day increasing (so at 1000mg), well today I started spotting, having very small bright red clots and stringy mucous with streaks of blood a couple times when I wipped..thought it was strange to have this so soon to be having a period.

Anyone have this happen, may email my doc this week, but just seeing everyone's thoughts!
