Anyone have Breast Hypoplasia (insufficient glandular tissue) and was able successfully EBF?

I had my first LO almost 11 months ago. We weren't able to successfully breastfeed even though I tried everything. I ended up losing my supply completely when he was only 2 months old. I was crushed (still am). Before I was diagnosed, I dreamed of being able to breastfeed and I still hope to breastfeed future children if it's possible. 
Any success stories?
Any tips? 
Any advice is greatly appreciated.

That you so much for your sharing your story!! I greatly appreciate the time you took to type this all out.
I was diagnosed based on my struggles after this first birth and past medical history. I was classified as obese during my years of puberty and didn't lower my weight until my late teens. My doctor thinks that because of that factor as well as possibly mild thyroid issues that my body didn't produce enough glandular tissue and basically my body just "filled" my bra with fatty tissue instead. Although I was fit during my pregnancy I still had no changes in my breasts before or after birth. So all this in combination with my LO losing too much weight was what got me diagnosed.
 I did see a LC for the 2 months I was 'breastfeeding'. They had me on a routine of breastfeeding (both breasts), supplement immediately after and then pump 20 mins per breast and I would repeat this every 2 hours around the clock. So basically once I finished, I would have to  start all over again. It was exhausting to say the least and soul shattering. We did weighted feeds after I would breastfeed and we would always watch to see if my LO would swallow (he had a great latch) and he never did. When I would pump, I'd pump 5-10ml (both breasts) total with a hospital grade pump. To say the least my supply was VERY low even after all that. There was no increase ever. I never felt a let down, never felt fuller.
I tried fenugreek supplements and lactation cookies. I ate oatmeal every morning and I did my best to stay hydrated. I am really at a loss on what to do. I really want to be able to breastfeed even if I have to supplement some. 🤷
