I’m 20 weeks pregnant today. Our little girl was not planned but I love her just the same! My husband will respond to me when I talk about her but he hasn’t really tried to bond with her at all and doesn’t ask about her.. If she’s kicking, I have to put his hand on my belly to feel, he never feels her on his own and doesn’t seem interested. When she does kick his hand he says “I felt her” and then moves his hand... I talk about her all the time and he doesn’t say much. She responds to his voice the most and I thought he would maybe be excited about it, but he didn’t say much when I told him that.. I’ve asked him how he feels about having a baby and he says he’s happy.. but I don’t feel a whole lot of emotion coming from him... is this normal? Anyone have a husband that didn’t bond with baby until after the birth?
