To soon to tell people we're expecting?

Question

I am 6w4d. I had a transvaginal ultrasound sound Monday at 6w2d. We saw the heartbeat which was at 100. We were terrifies of an ectopic as I've had one 11 years ago. 
We really want to announce but is there still a huge chance of miscarriage??

I told at 6 weeks. I don't regret it one bit. I feel like every life should be celebrated, even if they aren't around for very long. :)

My coworker told people at 8 weeks. At 8 weeks 3 days she miscarried. It's up to you, she had awesome support through that, but she still had to go back and tell everyone nevermind.

Between 6-8 weeks pregnant we only told the closest people to us, people I wouldn't mind telling if I miscarried. I'm entering my second trimester now and my husband has started to tell some close collegues at work. We plan to do an official announcement in about a month by sending out early Thanksgiving cards and putting it on FB. It's an exiting time and I would have hated to keep it a secret from those I love most. Btw, your risk of miscarriage is about 15-25% if you need numbers to make your decision.

I'm almost 9w and I only told my personal trainer I was pregnant since I'm used to really intense work out and I had to slow down. 
I had to tell a couple of people at work since I'm a pharmacist and can find myself exposed to materials I shouldn't touch or be around. 
Beside that, no one knows. Not the families, no best friends, if someone asks me if I'm pregnant I will tell them but so far no one asked. 
Can't wait to tell my family and friends though, it's getting quite difficult to keep it a secret.

When we found out we only told my in-laws. We waited until second trimester to tell most people. After having a miscarriage prior to this pregnancy I knew I couldn't announce any earlier than that.

It's really all up to upu, bc it's yalls blessing! I'm almost 14weeks along and still haven't told the world, via facebook, just close family and very close friends. It took a very long time for us to get pregnant and God forbid anything happen, I dodn't want to announce depressing news. Kinda nerve wracking.

We were ttc for over 6 years, so after my transvaginal confirmed it at 6 weeks, we posted and told everyone. We knew there was still the possibility of something happening, but I also knew our support system would be there in case it did. It's everyone's personal choice, and most people wait until between 10-12 weeks. Thinking happy thoughts for u!

I'd wait till at least 10 weeks. We told close family at that early stage though. So it's really up to you guys. I'm 8weeks and I can't wait to tell everyone else!

I had a scare this week and family has been totally supportive and awesome. I couldn't imagine going through this without them.
