Sex Headaches - Need Help

This is sort of an embarrassing thing, but I’m wondering if anyone else has experienced this and if they have, what they’ve done to help it.

I’ve always suffered from migraines, mostly around my period time. Lately they’ve been getting better, aren’t as frequent, and don’t last as long.

Recently though, I’ve had the misfortune of suffering from coital cephalalgia...basically migraines brought on by orgasm. It’s legitimately and easily the most miserable I have ever been in my life (aside from kidney stones). It comes on so suddenly, usually just before or just after orgasm and it hurts so badly that I want to throw up. The first time it happened, I ended up in the ER thinking I was having an aneurysm or stroke.

My question is: does this happen to anyone else and if so how do you help it? I don’t want to be afraid to have sex for fear of getting sick every single time I climax 😖😖😫😫
