Fleas?

My pup went potty where it wasn’t sprayed for fleas now my apartment has had fleas. I’ve fogged my house yet there’s still fleas...I took so many off my puppies butt. Any suggestions on how to get rid of them without throwing my whole

house away?

blue dawn dish soap helps . clean the dog with the soap and also fill up bowls to put around the house (water and dish soap) and the fleas will jump in the bowl and die .. weve been dealing with fleas forever, since we rescued our cat who was infested in them. theyre a pain.

The problem is unless you have a hard freeze they're not going to go away it takes 10 days for them to regenerate so you need to keep profusely scrubbing your floors down with the flea killer powder

If you don’t want to go to the vet for flea meds then I recommend using advantage and/or the soresto collar on the animals. Keep treating the house. They can live in the walls and come from the neighbors side too. If you bathe them in flea shampoo or dawn too much it can irritate their skin so it’s best to use a flea product on the pet also. Don’t use brands like Hartz or pretty much anyone cheap - they won’t work. Frontline doesn’t really work on pets in my area anymore - fleas have built up an immunity. Treat the animals and the house and it may only take a few months to get rid of everything. You might need to keep treating the pets if they go outside because strays or other animals might bring fleas into the yard so your pets will keep getting them.
