For any teen parents how did your parents react?

I’m 19 and Im financially stable/independent and pay all of my own bills I’m not reliant on my parents at all & I don’t live w them, my mom was cool about it for that reason but my dad is being such an asshole saying I should be embarrassed and my life is going to be miserable etc. even though him & I aren’t that close for him to to even have a place saying that, which is completely fucked up bc his reaction was the complete opposite for my brother just a year older who is doing way worse than me in life, I think I’m going to have to cut him off completely bc I don’t need or want anyone’s negativity
